What do you need to apply for a Russian visa?

Before you can enter Russia you need to be sure that you have your tourist visa sorted out. You need to prepare the following documents for your visa application:

1. Completed Russian visa application form (one per person) signed by the applicant.
2. Valid national passport with at least two clear visa pages. Passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of your departure from Russia.
3. One recent passport size photo of the visa applicant with the applicant’s name written on the reverse side.
4. A standard Russian tourist acceptance confirmation issued by hosting Russian travel agency or hotel registered with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
5. Tourist voucher from your travel agency (or hotel). The voucher must contain the applicant's name, passport number, dates and ports of arrival and departure in and from Russia, cities to be visited, agency's reference or registration number. Please note that the hotel booking is not sufficient for visa application. Visa First can provide you with this tourist acceptance.
6. Tour Group or Cruise Passenger: Letter from tour company or cruise line confirming itinerary and including a copy of the confirmation from authorized Russian travel company which shows the reference number and confirmation number for the visa.
