Who can apply for Egypt Tourist/Business Visa?

All British and EU, Japanese, Singapore, Australians, New Zealand, Canadian, and American Nationals can apply for Egypt visa and it is not required for them to visit an Egypt Embassy or Consulate in person.

Do I have to send my passport when applying for the Egiptian tourist visa?

Yes. Your passport must also be valid for at least 6 months form the date you are due to enter Egypt.

How long it takes for the visa to be granted?

The Standard processing time is 10 working days, after receipt of your application.

How many people can visit Egypt with one visa?

Only one visa is required for each passport regardless of the age of the passport holder or the number of children added. (Children under 16 years of age can travel on parent’s passport).

What additional documents are required for person to apply for business visa?

Business visa applications must be submitted with a letter from the Company stating the reason for the visit.

What are the charges for the service?

Irish Residents:
-Tourist Visa, 1-Month, Single entry: €55
-Tourist Visa, 1-Month, Multiple entry: €65

-Business Visa, 1-Month, Single entry: €70
-Business Visa, 1-Month, Multiple entry: €90

UK Residents:
-Tourist Visa, 3-Month, Single entry: £50
-Tourist Visa, 3-Month, Multiple entry: £50

-Business Visa, 3-Month, Single entry: £80
-Business Visa, 3-Month, Multiple: £130

Australian Residents:
-Tourist Visa, 3-Month, Single entry: AU$65

What is the period of stay granted by the tourist visa?

Tourist visas are valid for 6 months, but the maximum duration of stay is 3 months.

Can I extend my visa when in Egypt?

Yes, Visas can be extended one week before the end of the permitted stay in Egypt at the Immigration office.

How many times can I visit Egypt with the multiple entry visa?

There are no restrictions for the number of visits in Egypt, as long as the total period of stay does not exceed the one granted by the visa; and the last entry in the country is before the end of the validity period of your visa (usually 6 moths).
